Hah! Brilliant! Cheers for bringing this to my attention!

I used to run around shouting "gooooo-Lazio!" in a dodgy Italian accent wondering why the production team were so blatently bias towards Lazio. Clearly, my understanding of Italian was a little questionable. I was only 12 or 13 though, in fairness.

Here's hoping the Guardian keep this feature going! Memories!

Scorcio! I believe was another one the commentary team used as well?

Great piece of nostalgia here Dave, and I didn't even know the Guardian were going to run a feature like that. Definitely gives me more of a reason to pick up the Guardian.

Once again great read!

Ah so many memories! Sunday afternoon Italian football, and then The Big Match on ITV were the only things that used to make Sundays enjoyable when I was younger.

Let's hope the Guardian make this a regular feature!
