It&#039;s sad that an organisation as large as Trinity Mirror can&#039;t invest heavily in improving their online presences - although to be fair, the Liverpool Echo (http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/) is pretty good and they&#039;ve recently been making everyone in the West Midlands re-apply for their jobs so they can weed out the non-believers in a digital format.

If the BBC does go hyper-local as they are threatening and &#039;destroy&#039; the current setup then surely that is the fault of the local/regional newspapers for not having their house in order.</description>
