Yeah...age does give you a perspective on life that youth doesn't always comprehend. Thanks for clarification on your meaning...and I think every technological change has its proponents and opponents. What I am concerned about now is the human aspect...people who will loose what they love and possibly their sole support because of these changes. They are the potential dinosaurs. You, my young friend, are one of the hungry mammals.

"the technology may change, but the prcoess remains the same."

I love that comment right there -- it's very true. When I mentioned your 'worries', I meant about grasping the new technology... the headaches etc.

You know, I wish there were blogs around when telephones were invented. I wonder how many journalists suddenly heralded the use telephones as the tragic end of quality journalism...?

Ouch...watch what your read into things. The post wasn't about MY worries. My concerns are about other photogs making the transition and the realities they face. Frankly I breezed through all of the changes until nonlinear...that took three months rather than overnight. I was used to being (as you seem to be) able to take on anything and pick it up and move on. Unfortunately as we become one with our current technology, it becomes more difficult to move on. One of the lessons learned from the many changes in technology is that the technology may change, but the prcoess remains the same.
