Your concern for Jade Goody I was relieved to see. I am 66years watched B.B and at the end of it I feel that I have been left without a voice......yes that is what it feels like living in this country I think of myself as being an ordinary citizen of this country. To watch Jades mother's treatment in the eviction and Jades reaction to it ....no one seemed to realise how demeaning it is to be subjected to such ridicule....I am unsure as to whether Jackie has learning difficulties or whether the way she is due to the horrific accident she had. Whateverit is she appears to be someone that requires a special understanding. Jades reaction was shown the next day..... echoed my feelings on seeing that particular screening. We are forever tricked by the media....I think Jade has had to 'stand up for herself' and I see that although it got her bad publicity it just shows us that we cannot read our newpapers to be aware of what is happening in this world.As for Shilpa Shetty (how could I forget her name) I believe that her acting was supurb up..... until she was disrespectful towards Jackie when taking over the shopping list...this highlighted differences....and they were not cultural....Shilpra's culture....I believe older are repected....did she even see Jackie as a fellow human being?... I think not. Carol the journalist used words to describe Jackie...yes I can agree she said those things to help others understand.....but they were not an up to date language. I will never look at a stock cube in the same way ever again. And to think Tony Blair and his associates became involved with the issues of B.B. I haven't read anything on his comments of how Jade was treated on such programmes as Good Morning and GMTV ....APPALLING.... they all were like a dog with a rabbit.....I suppose Fern Britton and Peter Scholfield had to interview that way. Some would say they would be in fear of losing their jobs if they did otherwise...... Thank you for your site I see you are 19 years old.....I hope that you will take your sensitivity into your chosen career....you have given me the opportunity to say some of my thoughts I hope Jade has seen that she does have some who could support her.
